Sarajevo: 207 Active Coronavirus Cases

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - After analyzing 445 samples collected between September 26 and 28 this year, 11 new people have tested positive for coronavirus in the Sarajevo Canton.

Seven of them, or 63.63 percent, belong to family clusters or are contacts of previously infected individuals and have been in self-isolation since before.

In the past 24 hours, 23 people have recovered, reducing the number of active coronavirus infection cases to 207.

Twenty-six people are currently hospitalized in the isolation ward of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo at Podhrastovi.

Six patients were discharged from hospitalization from this isolation ward during the past 24 hours.

Fortunately, there have been no deaths since the last report, so the total number of deaths from coronavirus infection remains 81.

To date, 4,564 infected individuals have been confirmed in the Sarajevo Canton, of whom 4,276 have recovered from COVID infection.

In the period from September 14 to 29 this year, 536 self-isolation orders were issued.
