In RS, 221 people under supervision, four in isolation at UKC

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - Minister of Health and Social Protection of Republika Srpska Alen Šeranić said today that there are no new cases of coronavirus infection in Republika Srpska, and that 221 people are under supervision, while supervision has ended for 37 people after fourteen days of isolation.

Šeranić stated that four people are currently in isolation at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska. Their condition is good.

Šeranić apologized to the parents of students at the Banja Luka Elementary School "Branko Ćopić" because information about the negative test results of the children appeared in public before it was communicated to them.

The Minister, after the session of the Coordination Team for planning, implementation, and monitoring of activities in Republika Srpska related to the emergence of the disease caused by the coronavirus, said that every person arriving from areas affected by the coronavirus is obliged to report to the health center.

Doctor Jelena Đaković Dević stated that there is no reason to ban mass gatherings, but appealed to people with respiratory problems not to attend public events.

She said that preventive activities also include avoiding visits to healthcare facilities unless necessary.
