The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan, and the Director of the Police of Republika Srpska, Siniša Kostrešević, are in constant communication with the Minister of Internal Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, and the top officials of the Serbian Police.

"Although there is no immediate threat of a similar attack in Republika Srpska, a series of preventive measures have been ordered, and cooperation with other police agencies has been intensified in terms of exchanging operational information," the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska announced.

The statement added that the security situation in Republika Srpska is satisfactory and that citizens have no reason for concern, but they are urged to report any suspicious activity in their surroundings to the police.
