In the BiH entity of Republika Srpska, a 24-hour silence has been in effect since last night, ahead of the referendum on the celebration of January 9th, which will be held in this part of the country on Sunday, writes NAP.
The referendum is unconstitutional, has been condemned by the international community, and does not even have the support of official Belgrade, yet the authorities in RS have decided to proceed with it, which could lead to this BiH entity facing strong sanctions after Sunday.
The 24-hour silence entails the end of campaigning through mass media and public gatherings.
