RS: 77 new coronavirus cases, four deaths

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the last 24 hours, 77 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the BiH entity of Republika Srpska.

470 samples were tested, and four deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health.

These are 49 males and 28 females, of whom 10 are younger, 54 middle-aged, and 13 elderly.

By place of residence, 21 people are from Banja Luka, six each from Laktaši and Gradiška, five each from Zvornik and Srbac, four from Bijeljina, three each from Mrkonjić Grad, Čelinac, Kneževo and Foča, two from Kotor Varoš and one each from Doboj, Prnjavor, Šipovo, Derventa, Kozarska Dubica, Rogatica, Bratunac, Bileća, Trebinje, Oštra Luka, Lopare, Nevesinje, Krupa na Uni, Vlasenica, Novi Grad and Rudo.

So far, 7,464 cases of the virus have been confirmed in RS, and a total of 251 people who tested positive for this virus have died.

In RS, a total of 4,403 people have recovered from COVID so far, and a total of 65,272 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in RS is 230, at the University Clinical Centre 64, and in general hospitals 166.

In the smaller BiH entity, 3,046 people are currently under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 51,903 people.

Institute Director Branislav Zeljković said that the epidemiological situation is still unfavorable.

He appealed to citizens to be responsible and to respect the recommended measures.
