RS: 109 new infections, three deaths

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, University Clinical Centre of Republika Srpska, General Hospital Bijeljina and University Hospital Foča, 431 laboratory samples were tested, and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has been confirmed in 109 people in Republika Srpska.

These are 48 males and 65 females, of whom 17 are younger, 59 middle-aged, and 33 are older.

By place of residence, 27 people are from Pale, 23 from Banja Luka, 11 from Trebinje, six people are from Laktaši, five from Prnjavor, four people each are from Bijeljina, Višegrad and Zvornik, three each are from Prijedor and Šekovići, two people each are from Gradiška, Istočna Ilidža, Istočno Novo Sarajevo, Ribnik and Šipovo, and one person each is from Bratunac, Kneževo, Kotor Varoš, Modriča, Sokolac, Srbac, Čelinac, Istočni Stari Grad and Jezero.

In the last 24 hours, three deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, in which the presence of the new coronavirus was confirmed. These are an older male from Laktaši, an older male from Teslić, and a middle-aged male from Banja Luka.

So far, 5,020 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 176 people with a confirmed test for the new coronavirus have died.

In Republika Srpska, a total of 2,670 people have recovered from the new coronavirus so far. A total of 51,286 people have been tested for SARS-CoV-2.

The total number of hospitalized people in Republika Srpska is 270, with 68 in the University Clinical Centre of Republika Srpska and 202 in general hospitals.

In Republika Srpska, 4,375 people are currently under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 43,688 people.
