Police officers of the Omarska Police Station on 24.08.2016, in the village of Marićka on abandoned private property, found 8 military crates containing 40 pieces of 82 mm caliber shells. The shells were found in the attic of an auxiliary building, based on previously obtained operational information, and an on-site investigation determined that they had been there for a longer period, it was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, reports the BH News Agency Patria.
No traces were found at the scene that would indicate a possible connection of criminal groups with the placement of the mentioned items.
The found shells were removed from the scene by members of the Civil Protection Administration Banja Luka.
