
(Patria) - During an exhumation at the Hambarine - Luščani site in Prijedor, incomplete remains of one person were found.
- It is assumed to be a victim of Bosniak nationality who was killed at this site in 1992 - stated the spokesperson for the Institute for Missing Persons (INO) of BiH, Emza Fazlić.
Fazlić explains that along with the almost complete remains of the victim who was found and exhumed, some personal belongings and clothing were also found.
After the exhumation, the remains were transported to the Šejkovača Identification Center in Sanski Most for further forensic processing and identification through DNA analysis.
Fazlić points out that locals were clearing the area and noticed the remains, about which they informed the INO of BiH. When investigators arrived at the scene, it was determined that they were human remains.
