Search for Italian in Međugorje includes tracker dogs

Search for an Italian citizen who disappeared in Međugorje several days ago has included tracker dogs since this morning, but there is still no trace of the missing pilgrim, writes the Patria news agency.

Italian citizen Luciano Ciccarelli (79) went missing in the Međugorje area several days ago, and since then members of the Mountain Rescue Service (HGS), police, and teams from the Federal Civil Protection Administration have been searching for him without success.

The Italian was last seen on August 2 at a house in Međugorje, where he had rented a room, and since then all trace of him has been lost.
His disappearance was reported by his landlords, who rented him the room on July 28. Police found his passport, laptop, and personal belongings in the room where the Italian was staying.

Members of the Federal Civil Protection Administration have been combing the terrain with the help of dogs since the early morning hours, but still have no trace. Members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Interior, the Mountain Rescue Service in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Mountain Rescue Service from Croatia are also involved in the search for the Italian. 
The search is taking place on the road from Međugorje towards Šurmanci, writes NAP.
