Decision on whether to seek pre-trial detention for Famus leaders to be known this afternoon

The director of Famus gradnja 3 company Kemal Karahmet, technical director Miralem Jahić and construction site manager Dženan Hadžem were handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office after yesterday's arrest, and as confirmed by Alem Hamzić, spokesperson for the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, the hearing is still ongoing, writes the Patria News Agency.

It will only be known this afternoon whether the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office will seek pre-trial detention for those arrested, who are suspected of serious criminal offenses against the general safety of people and property, related to the improper and incorrect execution of construction works.

We remind you that Karahmet, Jahić and Hadžem were arrested due to the accident that occurred in Hiseta Street in Sarajevo when a part of a freshly concreted slab collapsed, pulling down scaffolding, killing two workers and seriously injuring one.
