17 patients in Podhrastovi, three discharged yesterday

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - According to the morning data from the Institute of Public Health of KS, 31 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Sarajevo Canton.

Of this number, 19, or 61.29 percent, belong to family clusters or are contacts of previously ill individuals, which is why they have been in self-isolation since before.

In the previous 24 hours, 444 samples collected between September 5 and September 8, 2020, were analyzed.

Since the last report, 43 people have recovered, so the number of active coronavirus infection cases has decreased to 326 people.

There are 17 people hospitalized in the Isolation Ward of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, and all are vitaly stable. Three patients were discharged from the Isolation Ward after hospitalization.

There were no deaths, so the total number of deaths from the consequences of coronavirus infection remains 74.

To date, 4,167 infected individuals have been confirmed in Sarajevo Canton, of whom 3,767 have recovered from COVID infection.

In the period from August 26 to September 9 this year, 679 self-isolation orders were issued.
