Conference 'New Impetus for the European Integration of the Western Balkans' on Friday

On Friday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., a conference titled „New Impetus for the European Integration of the Western Balkans“ will be held at the Hotel „Evropa“, organized by the Austro-French Center, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Four panel discussions will be held with guests from the countries of the region and numerous European officials. Some of them are Hannes Swoboda, former member of the European Parliament, Jean Eric Paquet, Director of the Directorate for Enlargement of the European Commission, as well as Wolfgang Petritsch, former High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and many other guests.

All ambassadors, representatives of authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and officials are invited to participate in the conference.

Incidentally, the Austro-French Center was founded in 1978 on the initiative of the Government of Austria and the Government of France, with founders Bruno Kreisky and Jacques Chirac.

The organizers of the conference also include the French Center for International Relations, the Central European Initiative - under the presidency of Austria, and the embassies of Austria and France in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The local partner in the implementation of the conference is the European Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
