During the break of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA session, Čović and Cvitanović at a meeting at the US Embassy

(Patria) - While the session of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA is on a break, where the agenda has not yet been adopted because delegates requested an agenda addition, delegates Dragan Čović and Ilija Cvitanović left the BiH PA to attend a meeting at the US Embassy.

The topic of the meeting is the Southern Gas Interconnection, and the leaders of the Trojka parties Nermin Nikšić, Elmedin Konaković, Sabina Ćudić with associates, as well as the relevant minister Vedran Lakić, also attended the meeting.

This is a strategic US project that would mean a change of gas supplier for BiH. Gas would arrive in BiH from Croatia, with whom the project of building the Southern Gas Interconnection is being realized.



The Parliament of the Federation of BiH adopted the Law on the Southern Gas Interconnection without the votes of HDZ BiH, and now the Constitutional Court of the Federation of BiH is being asked to assess the constitutionality of this law.

Although the break in the session of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA was supposed to last half an hour, it is evident that it will not resume work until Čović and Cvitanović return.
