Zoran Tegeltija's Public Hearing at the BiH Parliament

(Patria) - The Commission for Combating Corruption of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament has scheduled a public hearing for today, starting at 11:00 AM, for the Director of the Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija.

"The public hearing of the Director of the UIO BiH is scheduled in connection with the planning, approval, and implementation of the multi-year project for the procurement and construction of facilities for the Banja Luka Regional Center and the UIO BiH Main Office in Banja Luka.

The decision on the public hearing was made at the 13th session of the Commission for Combating Corruption, held on February 5, 2025," the BiH Parliament announced.

We remind you that the Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the Decision on Amendments and Additions to the Decision on Approving the Project for the Procurement and Construction of Facilities for Regional Centers and the UIO BiH Central Office.

According to that decision, 71,400,000 KM has been approved for the procurement and equipping of the facility for the Central Office, with 67,500,000 KM for the procurement of the facility and 3,900,000 KM for equipping.

In fact, this is a continuation of the process by which an attempt is being made to purchase a building for this state institution for almost 100 million KM, from Mile Radišić, the godfather of Milorad Dodik.

So far, there have been several unsuccessful attempts to purchase a building to house the UIO Central Office in Banja Luka, but the state simply does not have enough money for a facility owned by Mile Radišić, who is the only one meeting the conditions according to the UIO's prescribed needs.

Later, a Declaration on halting the purchase of the UIO BiH building was proposed in Parliament, but it did not make it onto the agenda of the House of Representatives because the SNSD, HDZ, and almost the entire Trojka were against it.

The only member of the parliamentary majority who voted to discuss this declaration was the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Denis Zvizdić (NiP).

All representatives of the SNSD and HDZ were against it, and regarding the Trojka, NiP's Nihad Omerović abstained, while SDP's Saša Magazinović, Albin Muslić, Jasmin Imamović, and Ermina Salkičević-Dizdarević, along with Predrag Kojović from Naša stranka, voted against.

Sabina Ćudić from Naša stranka and Rejhana Devišević from SDP were not present at the session, while NiP's Mia Karamehić Abazović was not present at the time of the vote, although she was at the session.

The entire opposition voted for including this declaration on the agenda.
