65 passengers and six crew members on board Russian plane that crashed

A plane of the Russian airline Saratov Airlines, carrying 71 people, crashed today in the Moscow region, Interfax reported, Reuters reported.

It is stated that TASS, citing city authorities, reported that the "An-148" plane disappeared from radar after taking off from Moscow's Domodedovo airport.

It is stated that there were 65 passengers and six crew members on board the plane.

A representative of the emergency services announced that the plane had crashed and that "there is no chance anyone survived".

An emergency services source stated that bad weather conditions, pilot error, or a technical malfunction could be the cause of the accident.

That source added that, however, the weather conditions were not that bad.
