Youth from Tešanj, Josip Križanović, goes missing in Osijek

Josip Križanović (19) went missing in the night between Saturday and Sunday in Osijek. A first-year student at the Osijek Faculty of Electrical Engineering, he was out in Tvrđa until around 2 a.m. After that, he told friends that he had had enough and was going home to Donji grad in Osijek, reports the Patria news agency. 

- A friend sent me a message that Josip had gone home and that I should head towards him. I set off on my bike, but I didn't come across him. Since then, all trace of him has been lost. He has only been in Osijek for three weeks - Josip's worried brother Danijel told us.

 The brothers are originally from Tešanj in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the older brother has been living in Osijek for a longer time on Cvjetkova Street, where Josip most likely headed after going out.

The missing Josip is 187 cm tall, has straight chestnut hair and eyes of the same color, an oval face, and a medium build. His profile has been entered into the National Registry of Missing Persons and can be viewed online at www.nestali.hr.

 - We still have no leads, nothing.. The investigation is ongoing - Josip's brother told us.

We appeal to the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia and other relevant authorities to become more actively involved in the investigation process for the missing Josip.
