Three Bosnian-Herzegovinian families in besieged Gaza inquire about evacuation

Three families from Bosnia and Herzegovina are currently in besieged Gaza, the BH news agency Patria has learned from the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Jordan, which also covers the Gaza area.

The news agency Patria has confirmed from this embassy that a family from Gaza, which also holds BiH citizenship, contacted our country's embassy 15 days ago. They inquired about the possibilities of leaving besieged Gaza if the need arose.

Embassy officials learned from that family that besides them, two other families with BiH citizenship are in Gaza. In all three cases, these are mixed Bosnian-Palestinian marriages, totaling about 15 members.

- According to the latest information we have, the only way to leave Gaza is through Israel, with the help of international organizations. However, we have not yet had a single request from any of our citizens wishing to leave Gaza - Patria was told by the embassy in Amman. None of the people in Gaza with BiH citizenship have been injured or killed.

Since July 7, Israel has been carrying out air and sea attacks on Gaza, and a few days ago, the ground offensive of Israeli military troops on the Gaza Strip began. So far, hundreds of Palestinians have been killed, including a large number of children. Thousands of Palestinians have been injured. Israel is carrying out aggression on Gaza under the pretext of fighting terrorism, but they are daily targeting hospitals, civilian settlements, and other facilities where they kill children. Four more civilians were killed during today's shelling of a hospital.

Although demonstrations are held daily in cities around the world to stop the shelling of Gaza, the international community has not yet stopped the suffering of civilians and children in Gaza, writes Patria.
