Meeting in Municipality of Vogošća today on heating issues

(Patria) - Mayor of the Municipality of Vogošća, Migdad Hasanović, will host a working meeting today on the problems faced by citizens and institutions of Vogošća with the supply of thermal energy.

The meeting will be held in the Municipality building starting at 1:00 PM, while a press conference is planned for 2:00 PM.

Citizens of Vogošća have been facing serious heating difficulties since the beginning of the heating season. They have only had regular thermal energy supply for a few days. Air temperatures are below zero, and new precipitation is also forecast.

It is the holiday season, and instead of welcoming it in warm homes, the citizens of Vogošća are victims of administration and the shifting of responsibility from one to another.

Numerous residents have approached Mayor Hasanović and the Municipality of Vogošća with requests for help, so the working meeting has been attended by the Prime Minister of KS Nihad Uk, representatives of the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection, Kanita Imamović-Gušić, Director of the KS Commodity Reserves Directorate, Enis Džihanić, Director of BAGS-Energotehnika, as well as citizen representatives Nisveta Huskić, Dženana Bundić, Adnan Alikadić, and Muhidin Čardaković.

On Saturday, the citizens of Vogošća addressed Prime Minister Uk with a public letter, requesting that the KS Government convene an urgent session and secure the necessary heating oil from commodity reserves.

The Ministry of Communal Economy is currently without an authorized person, as no minister wants to take over this portfolio after the arrest of Minister Bojan Bošnjak, who has been in custody for two months.
