OHR meeting with EUFOR: Preventing undermining of Dayton, ensuring a stable environment

(Patria) - First Deputy High Representative and Brčko Supervisor Jonathan Mennuti today met with the Operational Commander of EUFOR-Althea Operation, Lieutenant General Hubert Cottereau, and his associates to discuss the current political and security situation in BiH and the region.

As announced by the OHR, Mennuti emphasized the necessity of coordinated engagement by the international community in BiH to prevent the reversal of achieved reforms and the undermining of the Dayton Peace Agreement, and to ensure a safe and stable environment conducive to further reforms and BiH's path towards the EU.

This meeting comes after the decree on the actions of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs should the High Representative Christian Schmidt appear on the territory of this entity, to arrest him and take him out of the entity.

Also, last Friday, rallies of support for Milorad Dodik's supporters were held at four locations on the entity line due to the indictment against Dodik. The indictment is pending confirmation at the BiH Court.
