Silent procession in Odžak for Srebrenica victims

A silent procession through the town started in Odžak today at 11 AM in remembrance of the Srebrenica genocide victims, writes the Patria News Agency.

Bosniaks, Croats, representatives of the municipal authorities, shoulder to shoulder with the symbol of Srebrenica's suffering on the lapels of their T-shirts and shirts, walked silently through the town.

- Let it be known, let it be remembered – this was the message from this gathering.

Fatiha was recited at the martyrs' cemetery, and a minute of silence was observed for the victims of other faiths.

A performance by the participants of the commemoration was held, symbolizing the mothers of Srebrenica (as in the symbol) calling out, searching for their children. The Srebrenica Inferno was also performed by the Bosniak Choir "Đulizare" from Odžak.
