On Tuesday evening around 6:30 PM, members of the Herzegovina Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS) found the lifeless body of a person above the village of Prapratnica, reports the Patria News Agency.
It is suspected that the deceased is S.M., born in 1943. He disappeared on Monday on Mount Žaba in the hinterland of Neum. He was last seen around 5:30 AM when he set off alone towards the sanctuary of St. Elijah, located on one of the peaks of that mountain.
When it was noticed that he was not returning, four people set out in search of him, who were later joined by HGSS teams and locals. S.M. is originally from the village of Cerovo in the municipality of Neum, and he lived in Canada.
