In accordance with the Time Calculation Act, winter time calculation begins on October 25, 2015, by moving the time back by 60 minutes at 3:00:00 AM to be calculated as 2:00:00 AM, it was announced by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, reports the Patria News Agency.
The clock change in Western Europe was introduced in the early 1970s.
The justification was that it would "extend" the day, enable savings in electricity consumption, increase productivity, improve human adaptation, and make the workday more efficient.
