On Sunday, 19 October 2014, the 11th anniversary of the death of the first President of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegović, will be marked. Delegations will lay flowers at the grave of the first President of RBiH, Alija Izetbegović, starting at 11:00 a.m., reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
On the same day, at the National Theatre in Sarajevo at 7:30 p.m., a ceremonial award ceremony will be held to present the Isa-beg Isaković Award to the first President of RBiH, Alija Izetbegović (posthumously), for the significance of his achievements in preserving the multi-ethnicity and multiculturalism of the community.
