Free Entrance to Pionirska Dolina on Sunday, September 25

Pionirska Dolina will host a "Family Day" on Sunday, September 25, 2016, for all interested citizens, especially parents with children. All interested citizens will be able to enter the Pionirska Dolina Recreational and Entertainment Center and the zoo free of charge on that day.

"Family Day" in our city is a gift and a joint project of the public utility company "Park", the Municipality of Centar, and the Ministry of Labour, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees of KS, Patria reports.

Gathering for all family members, enjoying nature, a well-maintained, clean, and safe environment, playing and having fun at the children's playgrounds, visiting the animals in the zoo, riding the train, bouncy castle, carousel, dodgems, and other attractions are opportunities for children, youth, their parents, as well as all other guests to spend the first Sunday of this autumn in "Pionirska Dolina".

The gate will be open as early as 7:30 AM, and from 12 PM to 2 PM, an art workshop will be organized for all children who attend, led by the famous Sarajevo painter Sulejman Memo Haljevac. Drawing supplies and other materials have been provided by the Municipality of Centar.

- Family Day for the citizens of Sarajevo Canton, as well as all guests who decide to join the celebration at this entertainment center, is an opportunity to present the new inhabitants of the zoo, which from Sunday will also become a place for breeding and preserving indigenous pigeon breeds from the area of BiH. On that occasion, the completion of the pigeon coop will be officially marked, where, thanks to the help of the Ecological Society for the Protection and Breeding of Birds from Sarajevo, indigenous pigeon breeds will be housed. The official completion of the works and ribbon cutting is planned for 12 PM - said Aldijana Hamza, expert associate for information at KJKP "Park".

Numerous interesting contents for all ages in "Pionirska Dolina" guarantee a good all-day gathering for every family, so all those who decide to enjoy the natural ambiance and this week's gathering with their loved ones are more than welcome.
