Play "Alfa Beta" at the Mostar National Theatre

MOSTAR, (Patria) - On Friday, February 1st, the play "Alfa Beta" will be performed on the small stage of the Mostar National Theatre "Studio 64" starting at 8 PM.

The play, based on the text by author Ted Whitehead and directed by Saša Oručević, is an interesting, dynamic, and universal story about human alienation, alienation from oneself and from others. A story about deep intimate fears depicted in the characters of a married couple experiencing their own crises of choices and decisions that shape their lives. By questioning the meaning of marriage, the characters also question the established values associated with marriage, and ask whether our expectations have been deceived?

Do we feel that platonic love and passion at the beginning of a relationship in all marital and life phases, or can it grow into something else, and what is it? The key question is, how much do we remain ourselves over time, how much are we obliged to remain true to ourselves and how much to the institution of marriage, and how does that shape us? Come and let's look for answers together. Fatima Kazazić and Saša Oručević star in the play, with scenography and costume design by Sabina Trnka.

You have the opportunity to watch the play "Alfa Beta" on February 15th and 22nd in Studio 64 of the Mostar National Theatre, starting at 8 PM.

On Friday, February 8th, at 8 PM, the play "Ajmo na fuka" will be performed on the Main Stage, based on the text and directed by Dragan Komadina. The cast includes: Saša Oručević and Robert Pehar. The play talks about the relationship between two soldiers, members of the Croatian Defence Council and the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their fates are depicted through three different situations: as dead men waiting in heaven for "a call from the One Above," as warriors on opposing sides in trenches, and as two acquaintances in post-war Mostar. This play is the first joint co-production project of the Mostar National Theatre and the Croatian National Theatre in Mostar.
