Skeletal remains of one victim from the past war found in Mostar

(Patria) - An exhumation was carried out at an unmarked location in Sarića harem in the municipality of Mostar under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, during which skeletal remains of one person were found.

The discovered remains will be transferred to the City Cemetery "Sutina" in Mostar for autopsy, identification, and forensic processing.

Present at the exhumation were an investigator from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, a forensic pathologist, representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons (INO) of BiH, the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) in BiH, workers carrying out the work, as well as police officers from the Ministry of Interior of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton who are securing the location.
