Book “Transcripts on the Partition of Bosnia” promoted in Mostar

The book “Transcripts on the Partition of Bosnia” published by the Center for Critical Thinking and the portal Tačno.net was promoted on Saturday evening at the Hotel Bristol in Mostar.

Speakers at the promotion included former Croatian President Stjepan Mesić, journalist Viktor Ivančić, theologian Fra Drago Bojić, journalist Senad Pećanin, and writer Nedžad Maksumić.

The transcripts mainly refer to conversations between former Croatian President Franjo Tuđman and then-Serbian President Slobodan Milošević, as well as conversations between Tuđman and some of the then-representatives of Bosnian Croats.

- In these authentic records from important sessions of Croatia's political leadership in the 1990s, there are dozens of explicit pieces of evidence that Franjo Tuđman not only partitioned Bosnia but was obsessed with the idea that this state should not exist at all – wrote, among others, Heni Erceg in this book.

Fra Bruno Bojić said during last night's promotion that the transcripts are particularly important for Bosnian Croats, “because the transcripts show the suicidal policy of the people who led Bosnian Croats at that time,” Bojić said.

Former Croatian President Stjepan Mesić said it is important that the transcripts exist and that they have been published, because precisely at this moment there is an attempt to distort history regarding the wars in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia in the early 1990s.

The book “Transcripts on the Partition of Bosnia” was edited by Tačno.net portal editor Štefica Galić and journalist Amer Bahtijar, NAP reports.
