(Patria) - In the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, headed by SNSD cadre Srđan Amidžić (SNSD), from January 2023 to December 20, 2024, 25 civil servants, seven employees, and 13 people on fixed-term contracts were hired.

Recall, in January 2023, the Council of Ministers of BiH was confirmed, and the Minister of Finance and Treasury was Zoran Tegeltija (SNSD). Since he was to take over as director of the Indirect Taxation Authority, SNSD proposed Srđan Amidžić as the new minister, who was appointed in August of that year.

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury has 162 employees, of which 77 are Serbs, 54 Bosniaks, 27 Croats, and 4 from the Others category.

Of the 25 civil servants who gained employment, five are Bosniaks, 16 Serbs, three Croats, and one from the Others category. All seven hired employees are Serbs, and regarding fixed-term employees, one Bosniak and 12 Serbs were hired.

Of the fifteen managerial positions in the Ministry, not counting the minister and deputy, Serbs and Croats hold five positions each, Bosniaks four, and one manager from the Others category.

The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH supported the dismissal of Srđan Amidžić and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac, but the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH has not yet considered this dismissal, and it is unclear when it will, given that SNSD has three delegates and by not attending a session or leaving it, they can break the quorum. They have already used this option twice to avoid the dismissal of Nikola Špirić from the Collegium of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
