In March, Ladies Choose

On its tenth birthday, ALTTEATAR gifts the BiH audience the hit play “Ladies Choose”, directed by Admir Glamočak and Amra Mehić, reports the Patria news agency.

To stay or to leave? In the times we live in, young people face this question almost daily. Unemployment, apathy, lack of money, hopelessness – how to overcome them? You will find the answer in Sarajevo's Amfiteatar of the Youth Home, on March 6.

Treating the burning issues of today, such as unemployment and existential problems of modern man, with refined humor, the play “Ladies Choose” evokes in the audience a feeling of identification, recognition, and closeness with five young men who try to find a solution to their existential problems in every possible way, even as strippers in a nightclub.

Lovers of theatrical art will recognize that this is a hit title that, ten years ago, had more than 70 performances in BiH and abroad, because young people across the entire region face the same problems and the question: Is the solution to leave or to face reality and take responsibility for one's own life?

This is the first of two ALTTEATAR plays that will be realized in cooperation with ASU Sarajevo and Belgrade partners 'Kroz prozor Fabrika', within the project called „PERSIST“ which aims to highlight the existence of choices in life that we all have.
