39 new cases, three deaths in smaller BiH entity

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in RS, in the last 24 hours, at the Institute of Public Health of RS, University Clinical Centre and Sv. Vračevi Hospital in Bijeljina, 586 laboratory samples were tested, and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has been confirmed in 39 people in this entity.

These are 15 males and 24 females, of whom 12 are younger, 21 middle-aged, and six elderly.

According to place of residence, seven people are from Zvornik, five each from Brod, Modriča and Pale, three people are from Banja Luka, two each from Derventa and Čelinac, and one person each is from Bijeljina, Bratunac, Višegrad, Doboj, Istočna Ilidža, Istočni Stari Grad, Istočno Novo Sarajevo, Ribnik, Teslić and Šamac.

In the last 24 hours, three deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health.

So far, 8,283 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in RS, and a total of 277 people have died who tested positive for the new coronavirus.

In RS, a total of 5,290 people have recovered from the new coronavirus so far, and a total of 71,391 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in RS is 207, at the University Clinical Centre RS 62, and in general hospitals 145.

A total of 3,032 people are currently under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 54,580 people.
