38 new coronavirus cases in smaller BiH entity

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in the BiH entity of Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, at the Institute of Public Health, University Clinical Center, University Hospital Foča and St. Vračevi Hospital in Bijeljina, 210 laboratory samples were tested, and new coronavirus was confirmed in 38 people in RS.

These are 22 males and 16 females, of whom nine are younger, 26 middle-aged, and three elderly.

According to place of residence, 18 people are from Banja Luka, four from Bijeljina, three each from Prnjavor and Čelinac, two each from Prijedor, Trebinje and Foča, and one each from Gacko, Kozarska Dubica, Kotor Varoš and Novo Goražde.

In the last 24 hours, one death was reported to the Institute of Public Health of RS, in which the presence of the new coronavirus was confirmed. This is an elderly male from Rudo.

So far, 7,764 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in RS, and a total of 262 people have died who tested positive for the new coronavirus.

In RS, a total of 4,804 people have recovered from the new coronavirus, and a total of 67,542 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in RS is 201, at the University Clinical Center RS 59, and in general hospitals 142.

A total of 2,745 people are currently under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 53,546 people.
