15 new cases of coronavirus infection in Sarajevo Canton

(Patria) - According to data from the Institute of Public Health, 15 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Sarajevo Canton.

Of this number, nine, or 60 percent, belong to family clusters or are contacts of previously ill individuals, and have been in self-isolation since before.

From the last report until this morning, results arrived for 398 tested individuals, whose samples were collected from September 13 to 17, 2020.

At the same time, 31 people have recovered, so the number of active coronavirus infection cases has decreased to 257.

29 people are hospitalized in the Isolation Ward of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, and all are vitaly stable.

Fortunately, there were no deaths, so the total number of deaths from the consequences of coronavirus infection remains 78.

To date, 4,396 infected individuals have been confirmed in Sarajevo Canton, of which 4,061 have recovered from COVID infection.

In the period from September 4 to 18 this year, 669 self-isolations were ordered by inspectorate decisions, following recommendations from epidemiologists or based on decisions from the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton.
