Train derailed in Konjic

(Patria) - A freight train derailed tonight around 6:30 PM on the railway near Bradina ramp in Konjic.

The portal Novi Konjic writes that the train was traveling towards Čapljina, and it derailed at the same spot where a similar incident occurred a few days ago.

A wagon derailed from the track on a bridge without a protective railing, but fortunately, there were no injuries.



Details about the cause of the accident and any material damage are still being investigated.

This incident once again raises the question of safety on the railway near Bradina ramp.

Local residents have been warning about infrastructure problems on this part of the track for a long time and are demanding urgent repairs.
