
(Patria) - Two victims of the past war were identified today at the premises of the Memorial Center in Tuzla. These are victims of Bosniak nationality who disappeared in the area of Banovići and Ugljevik in 1992 and 1993, respectively.
The identity of these victims was first determined by DNA method, and today their identity was confirmed by family members of the exhumed victims.
Thus, today Mihrudin (Jusuf) Rahmanović, born in 1950 in the village of Seona, Banovići, was identified. He disappeared in 1992, and his remains were exhumed in May 2023 in the area of Seona.
The family also identified the remains of Atif (Redžo) Dervišević, born in 1950 in Ključ, today. He disappeared in March 1993 in the area of Ugljevik, and his remains were exhumed in 2021 at the Pilakuša cemetery in Bijeljina.
