Another victim of the Srebrenica genocide identified at the Memorial Center in Tuzla

(Patria) - Another victim of the genocide committed in Srebrenica in the summer of 1995 was identified today at the Memorial Center in Tuzla.
The victim is of Bosniak ethnicity and went missing in the Potočari area.
Today, Bektić (Huse) Fata, born in 1928 in Potočari, was identified.

She went missing on July 11, 1995, and her remains were found 26 years later, during an exhumation carried out on June 10, 2021, at the Potočari site.

The identity of this victim was established through DNA analysis, and today her identity was also confirmed by her family members.

Following the identification, the family gave their consent for the burial of this victim at the collective funeral prayer that will be held in July this year at the Srebrenica Memorial Center in Potočari.
