(Patria) - By order of the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton, the "Alert" episode for the KS area has been lifted, as have the intervention measures that were in force.
Due to weather changes and strong winds during the night, there has been a drastic drop in PM10 particle concentrations.
At the cantonal measuring stations, the measured values of this pollutant at 11 AM ranged from two to seven micrograms per cubic meter of particles.
Due to the geographical specificities of the Ilijaš basin, air purification in this area was slower compared to other parts of KS.
With the favorable weather situation, announced for the next two days, which will be conducive to clean air, the conditions for lifting the intervention measures have been met.
