'Warning' episode lifted in Sarajevo Canton

(Patria) - The Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton today, considering the forecasted weather situation and the drop in concentrations of pollutants in the air, upon the proposal of the Expert Body, lifted the "Warning" episode for the area of Sarajevo Canton.

Thanks to unstable weather with precipitation and no temperature inversion, air quality is currently good.

According to the synoptic forecast, in the next three days, variable weather is expected without precipitation and with weak wind.

The occurrence of a weaker temperature inversion and accumulation of pollutants is possible in the morning and evening hours, but without prolonged persistence.

The Expert Body will continue to continuously monitor the situation regarding air quality and report to the competent ministry and the public.
