12 new cases of coronavirus infection confirmed in Sarajevo Canton

(Patria) - After analyzing 190 samples collected between September 16 and 20 this year, 12 newly infected people with coronavirus have been confirmed in Sarajevo Canton.

Eight of them, or 66.66 percent, belong to family clusters or contacts of previously ill individuals, and they have been in self-isolation since before.

In the previous 24 hours, 10 people recovered, so the number of active coronavirus infection cases is currently 256.

31 people are hospitalized in the Isolation Ward of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo at Podhrastovi, and all are vitaly stable.

Four patients were discharged from the Isolation Ward after hospitalization during the past 24 hours.

Unfortunately, since the last report, there was one death, so the total number of deaths due to coronavirus infection has increased to 80.

To date, 4,449 infected individuals have been confirmed in Sarajevo Canton, of whom 4,113 have recovered from COVID infection.

In the period from September 7 to 21 this year, 606 self-isolation orders were issued.
