31 new coronavirus cases in Sarajevo Canton

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - 31 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Sarajevo Canton in the past 24 hours.

These are the results of testing 303 samples collected from August 31 to September 04 this year, according to the report of the KS Public Health Institute.

Of this number of newly infected, 21, or 67.74 percent, belong to family clusters and have been in self-isolation since before.

The recovery of 36 people has been registered in the past 24 hours, reducing the number of active coronavirus infection cases in Sarajevo Canton to 354 people.

There are 23 patients undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo Podhrastovi, three of whom are using respiratory support.

Two patients were discharged from hospital treatment from this institution yesterday, and fortunately, there were no deaths.

Currently, 784 people are in self-isolation.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,066 people have been registered with the new coronavirus infection in Sarajevo Canton, while a total of 3,642 people have recovered so far.
