
(Patria) - The heart of a great man and actor Haris Burina stopped beating forever last night at the Zenica Cantonal Hospital at the age of 63.
Burina passed away in the Emergency Block.
He was previously diagnosed with cancer.
Haris Burina is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian film and theatre actor.
He was born on February 2, 1963, in Zenica.
In 1982, he enrolled in the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, Department of Acting, as part of the second generation. During his studies, he already achieved some notable roles in theatre and film: Audicija, Tetovirano pozorište, Otac na službenom putu, Kuduz.
He lived in France for several years and founded the theatre “La Fenêtre” (“The Window”), where his play Ptice Sarajeva was created.
After returning to Bosnia and Herzegovina, he continued to work in theatre, film, and television. His roles in the films Go West, directed by Ahmed Imamović, and Nafaka, directed by Jasmin Duraković, were notable.
In 2010, he married actress Uranela Agić, from whom he divorced in 2020, writes 072info.
