SARAJEVO, (Patria) - An elderly woman infected with coronavirus died at the Podhrastovi Pulmonary Diseases Clinic, KCUS confirmed.
The patient was 82 years old and had multiple comorbidities.
There are currently 27 patients at the Podhrastovi Pulmonary Diseases Clinic. KCUS reported new test results: out of 373 tested samples, 34 were positive, as well as 19 re-tested samples. The virus was also confirmed in two samples from Kakanj, and one each from Vitez and Travnik.
There are more than 300 active cases of coronavirus infection in Sarajevo.
Epidemiologists recommend wearing masks, maintaining distance, enhanced hygiene, and avoiding large gatherings.
