27 inspection audits conducted in Gradačac

(Patria) - Inspectors of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH conducted 27 inspection audits in the municipality of Gradačac on April 29, 2019, covering taxpayers engaged in: hospitality, trade, sale of meat and meat products, and other service activities.

"In these activities, inspectors of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH discovered 3 undeclared workers and 6 taxpayers who did not issue fiscal receipts. Due to the identified irregularities: employment of undeclared workers and failure to record turnover via fiscal devices, 2 facilities were sealed, and in 17 cases misdemeanor warrants were issued with total fines imposed in the amount of 38,500.00 KM.

The Tax Administration thanks all taxpayers who regularly fulfill their tax obligations and calls on all taxpayers to timely fulfill their obligations, voluntarily declare and pay taxes, report every worker, and operate in accordance with tax and other applicable regulations, as this is the best and safest way of doing business. Use your money to improve business, invest, develop, pay salaries to employees, and not to spend hard-earned money on paying fines and interest.

The Tax Administration will continue to conduct activities to control the legality of taxpayers' operations and prevent the gray economy, and calls on taxpayers in whom irregularities have been identified to align their operations and comply with the laws. If in future inspections these taxpayers are again found to have irregularities, they will be imposed a protective measure of a ban on performing activities for a period of 6 months," the Tax Administration stated.

The Tax Administration will assist in every way taxpayers who show a willingness to fulfill their tax obligations and demonstrate determination to take all measures against those who wish to avoid their obligations, thus guiding them towards lawful conduct.

"The Tax Administration wants to be a partner to taxpayers and build transparent relationships based on applicable laws. The Tax Administration calls on all workers who work illegally to inform the Tax Administration about it. Only in this way will you be able to exercise your legally guaranteed rights: the right to health protection, the right to pension and disability insurance, and other rights that belong to you based on employment," they added from the Tax Administration.
