
(Patria) - One victim of the past war was identified today at the Center for Autopsy and Identification in Goražde.
The victim is of Bosniak nationality, killed in 1992 in Rogatica.
The victim's identity was first established through DNA analysis, and today family members confirmed the identity. Thus, Zuberović (Redžepa) Ahmed, born in 1953 in Rogatica, was identified. He was killed in June 1992, and his remains were exhumed in 2014 near his family home in the Rudo settlement in Rogatica.
The remains were exhumed from a local cemetery, where they were located in the grave of a woman who died in the 1980s.
The Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina is still searching for the closest family members of Ahmed Zuberović, namely his two sons, three-year-old Ahmedin, one-year-old Anes, and his thirty-two-year-old wife Refika.
