Intersection in Sarajevo's Stup neighborhood put into operation

(Patria) - The intersection at Stup has been opened for use by citizens.



This project will reduce congestion towards Ilidža, increase traffic safety, and improve the quality of life for all citizens.



During the construction of the intersection, there were many challenges with the relocation of installations related to water supply and sewage, carried out by utility companies.



In addition, the use of public transport in that part of the city will soon be facilitated due to the proximity of the newly built tram stops, where work on installing fences and canopies will be carried out in the coming period.



The goal is for the works to be completed by June and the tram stops to be operational.



During the earlier renovation of the tram line, it was planned that an intersection would be built, so the rails in that section were adapted to the new intersection.



The Ministry of Transport thanks the citizens for their patience and understanding, and the contractor for their efforts.
