(Patria) - In Frankfurt am Main, the book "Ahmići: The eight days of the 13-year-old Adnan – Ahmići: Osam dana 13-godišnjeg Adnana" by Austrian writer Thomas Obruča was promoted.
The book was promoted as part of the event "Night of Bosnia and Herzegovina".
This work tells the story of Adnan Zec, a 13-year-old who survived hell in Ahmići.
It is the story of thirteen-year-old Adnan Zec, who survived the crime on April 16, 1993, in Ahmići, Vitez municipality, how his family was killed, as well as his neighbors and relatives, and his village was burned and destroyed to such an extent that all traces of life were erased forever.
Writer Thomas Obruča said he is satisfied that he managed to gather the story into a work in this way and present the emotions that are part of Ahmići, part of the unimaginable crime that befell a small village in central Bosnia. As a long-time associate of the Tribunal, he himself was taken aback by this story, which, he says, prompted him to contact Adnan and together, once again from the beginning, create a testimony that will be written forever.
