In the Federation of BiH, a total of 611,927 vehicles were registered last year, which is 3.5 percent more compared to 2015 when a total of 570,452 vehicles were registered, according to data from the Federal Institute of Statistics, Patria reports.
Of the total 611,927 registered road motor vehicles in 2016, 87.4 percent were passenger cars, 10.5 percent were freight vehicles, and 2.1 percent were all other categories of vehicles.
Observed by age, of the total number of registered road motor vehicles, 6.1 percent are in the category up to 5 years old, 44.8 percent are in the category of 6 to 15 years old, while 49.1 percent are older than 15 years, the FZS states.
