Strengthening cooperation between Bahrain and Bosnia and Herzegovina discussed in Jeddah

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received today a letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zlatko Lagumdžija, which was handed over by Edhem Pašić on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 41st session of the foreign ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah, reports the Bahrain News Agency, as carried by Patria.

The letter discusses bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as strengthening cooperation. Pašić and the Bahraini foreign minister discussed strengthening relations at all levels, including assistance after the floods and other common interests.

A few days ago, Lagumdžija emphasised that we can expect support from ambassadors of Islamic countries, who expressed full readiness to help in the reconstruction and renewal of the country.

- It is very important that we have the UN, the EU, Islamic countries and international financial institutions together. We must tie all of this together, especially coordinate with neighbours - Lagumdžija told the media, as reported by Patria.
