December saw lower sales at markets, standard of living declined compared to 2013

Sales of agricultural products at markets in December 2014 amounted to BAM 1,800,463, which represents a decrease in sales of BAM 203,595 or 10.16% compared to December 2013, according to data from the Federal Institute of Statistics, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

In December 2014, the share of total sales of agricultural products at markets by product groups was as follows: vegetables 36.09%, poultry and eggs 18.57%, fruit 21.78%, potatoes 9.27%, honey and wax 5.67%, milk 3.55%, grains 1.67%, and grapes 1.79%.

Sales and Purchase of Agricultural Products in the Federation of BiH

The total value of sales of agricultural products of own production by agricultural enterprises and agricultural cooperatives and the purchase of agricultural products from family agricultural producers in December 2014 amounted to BAM 19,979,658, which is an increase of BAM 854,996 or 4.47% compared to December 2013.

The total value of sales of agricultural products of own production by agricultural enterprises and agricultural cooperatives in December 2014 amounted to BAM 9,235,527, which is a decrease of BAM 1,837,880 or 16.6% compared to December 2013.

The total value of purchases of agricultural products from family agricultural producers in December 2014 amounted to BAM 10,744,131, which is an increase of BAM 2,692,876 or 33.4% compared to December 2013.
