85 patients hospitalized in the Covid department of the General Hospital

(Patria) - In the past 24 hours, 12 patients were admitted to the Covid department of the General Hospital 'Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš' Sarajevo, and 5 were discharged. The previous day, one patient died. The total number of hospitalized patients in the Covid department this morning is 85 with moderate to severe conditions, of whom 4 are in intensive care, and one is on a respirator. In the Covid triage clinic, 5 patients are under observation and will be transferred for hospital treatment.

At the same time, while caring for Covid patients, the staff of the General Hospital is making maximum efforts to provide adequate services to other patients. On the first day of the weekend, there were 11 births in this institution, which has about 300 hospital beds, 35 operations were performed, including 6 emergency, 19 planned, and 9 outpatient procedures. In 24 hours, there were 995 examinations and 4591 services provided.
