45 patients hospitalized in the General Hospital's Covid Department

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the past 24 hours, one patient was admitted to the Covid Department of the General Hospital "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš", and four were discharged from the hospital.

Four patients are in intensive care, and one death was recorded yesterday.

The total number of hospitalized patients in the Covid Department this morning is 45.

As part of the regular morning briefing of the Covid team, Dr. Tijana Muhić-Skalonja, a specialist pulmonologist, gave a lecture on "Challenges of Anticoagulant Treatment of DVT/PTE."

During the previous day, 19 patients were admitted to the non-Covid departments of the General Hospital, and 72 completed their hospital treatment and were discharged home. Yesterday, 28 surgical procedures were performed, including 13 planned and 3 emergency surgeries, and 12 outpatient procedures.
